Singapore is an island country in the Southeast Asia. It has an estimated population of around 5 million.   1. Singapore Zoo
    The Singapore Zoo was earlier known as Singapore Zoological Gardens. The zoo is in on 28 hectares and located within a densely populated region of the country. The zoo opened to public on 23 June 1973. The safaris in the zoo are the most important part of the tour. Maintained by the Wildlife Reserves Singapore, it is home to around 315 animal species of animals. It is also a conservation center for many endangered species of birds, mammals, and reptiles. More often species are brought from other zoos and parks in the country to this place. 

  2. Jurong Bird Park
    Jurong Bird Park is one of the top Singapore tourist attractions that is maintained by the Wildlife Reserves Singapore. The sanctuary is located in the western part of Jurong Hill in Singapore. It is part of the Boon Lay Planning Area in the district of Jurong. It is a major attraction for kids with a range of permanent bird exhibits.   4. Universal Studios Singapore
    Universal Studios Singapore is located inside Resorts World Sentosa in the Sentosa Island of Singapore. It is a popular theme park and entertainment center for kids and adults. 

    The bid to build the park was won by Genting’s in 2006. The construction of the park began in April 2007 and today, it is the second largest park in Asia and the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. The park was opened to public on October 2009.

  5. Chinatown Singapore
    Chinatown is the ethnic hub of the Chinese community in the country. The place reflects the distinct Chinese culture, architecture, shops, and restaurants. Chinatown has the highest concentration of the Chinese population for centuries now. Chinatown is part of the Outram district. It is an important place of visit for the tourist for its historical and contemporary significance. 

    Chinese people form the largest ethnic group in the nation and Chinatown is their main cultural hub. The Chinese New Year is celebrated in a grand way here.   6. Singapore Botanic Gardens

It has the distinction of being the only garden of its kind in the world to remain from 5 am until midnight throughout the year. This botanic garden is well linked by the Holland Road to the Bukit Timah Road in the north. It is easily accessed from any part of the country. There are exclusive tours to Singapore Botanic Gardens and no admission fee is other than visit to the National Orchid Garden. The main attractions of the place include the following sections:

  7. Fort Siloso
    Fort Siloso is the only preserved coastal fort in the country bearing historical significance. It is one of the main historical sites part of Sentosa Island. It is preserved as a museum and opens for public viewing. The Fort has been a witness to World War II and its effect on the nation. Tour to Fort Siloso will let you experience some of the exclusive exhibits from the era of World War II. The exhibits and documents reveals the role of the fortress in defending the region during the war. There are old tunnels, guns on display, photographs, and used cannons. 

  8. Singapore Art Museum
    The Singapore Art Museum houses around 7750 exhibits from Southeast Asian Modern and contemporary arts of Singapore. It is one of the finest and largest fine arts museum in the country located in Waterloo Street. 

    The various permanent exhibits at the museum feature the following:
